Jogless Joy
A clever trick by Patty Lyons for minimizing "the jog" that happens when changing color in the round while knitting.
I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to my knitting. Well at least not compared to some of my friends. But I do like my knits to look "handmade" rather than "homemade", which to me, means well-crafted with attention to detail.
Color changes can be a bitch when knitting in the round. When you just start knitting in a new color without doing anything special, the colors don't match between the beginning and end of a round. But this clever trick by the great and good Patty Lyons minimizes the jog so the result is a much cleaner line.
